A Grand Day Out

A Grand Day Out is a trip out that doesn't fit into any of the other groups' activities. It has become a regular group – an informal day outing to some easily accessible regional attraction.

The trips are open to all members to take part in.

The first outing was a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway. We have also visited the Barbara Hepworth Museum in Wakefield, The Deep in Hull, Morecambe, and the Yorkshire rhubarb triangle, among other places.

Bradford: Tunnel, Impression Museum, Media-Colour and Science Museum, approx. 2 miles

Please meet at Leeds Bus Station for the 10.30 X6 for Bradford. Across the city centre into the newly opened Tunnel, then the Impression Museum, then the Media and Science Museum for a Colour display. Cafe in Media Museum. Return by bus from Bradford Interchange.
