21 May The Arium
Leeds City Council
A visit to the new LCC Nurseries at The Arium, Thorner Lane, Leeds. This is a new and state of the art complex.
The tour will take about 1 hour during which time we will be shown the production equipment in use, walk through the growing zones, and talk through the Nursery's history and role in the City of Leeds.
1.30pm at the Arium, or 12.45 at MASSC for car sharing (£2 donation to driver for lifts).
The tour is free. It will be followed by tea and cake at a cost of £4.99.
18 June Littlethorpe Manor A visit to this wonderful 11 acre garden. We will have a guided tour and the price includes teas and homemade cakes. [Last visited in 2013.] 12.15pm to leave by 12.30pm at MASSC.
Cost £10.50. Lifts £3 to driver.
16 July The Jungle Garden
Gledhow Wood Avenue, Leeds
This will include a guided tour at 2.00pm and refreshments of Pimms or orange juice, generous nibbles – melon, Parma ham, cold meats etc. Please let us know of any dietary requirements. Tea and coffee are not available. The cost will be £9.
Please meet at MASSC at 1.30pm.

Chris will give a talk outlining the background and history to Shandy Hall and then a pictorial guide of the garden. 2pm at MASSC
